Moisture BalanceJojoba's molecular structure closely mimics the skin's own sebum, making it one of the most easily absorbed natural oils. We use it in our Swim & Sport wash to restore moisture that chlorine and salt strip away, leaving hair and skin nourished after every swim.

Plant-Based Surfactants
Coconut & Corn. Not Petroleum.
Every cleanser in our range โ from baby wash to dish soap โ uses surfactants derived from coconut and corn. These plant-based agents break down dirt, grease, and grime without leaving chemical residues behind. They're readily biodegradable, so every bubble is as gentle to waterways as it is to skin.
Our home cleaning line uses the same plant-based philosophy: laundry detergent, fabric softener, dish wash, surface cleaner, and fruit & veggie wash are all safe to use around baby bottles, toys, clothes, and food preparation surfaces.
The Fruit & Veggie Wash difference: Food-grade quality, derived from corn and coconut with Himalayan Pink Salt. No scent, chlorine, alcohol, soap, or residue. Removes pesticides, bacteria, fungus, wax, and soil.
What We Never Use
Every ingredient in a Just Gentle product has to pass one test: would we put this on our own children? If the answer is no, it doesn't get in. Here's our complete exclusion list:

What does ECOCERT certification mean?
ECOCERT is a globally recognised organic certification body based in France. It independently verifies that ingredients meet strict standards for organic sourcing, ethical processing, and quality. This isn't a self-declared "natural" claim โ it's an independent audit of the entire supply chain, from raw materials to finished product.
What are Just Gentle products free from?
All products: parabens, sulfates, phthalates, dairy, gluten, and artificial colours. Baby products are perfume-free. Deodorants are aluminium-free. Swim & Sport products are silicone-free. Mosquito repellents are DEET-free. Sunscreens are reef-safe with non-nano filters.
Are your products tested on animals?
No. All Just Gentle products are cruelty-free. We test through dermatological testing on adult human volunteers โ never on animals. Our formulations use plant-based ingredients exclusively, with no animal-derived components.
Where are the ingredients sourced from?
Organic essential oils are distilled in France and ECOCERT-certified. Allergen-free scents come from European suppliers. Plant-based surfactants are derived from coconut and corn. Core botanicals โ shea butter, aloe vera, chamomile, argan oil โ are sourced from certified organic farms with full traceability.
Are the scents safe for newborns?
Baby products (age 0+) are completely perfume-free โ they rely only on the natural scent of their organic ingredients. Kids' products (6 months+) use allergen-free fragrances sourced from Europe that exclude the EU's top 26 listed fragrance allergens. This is why we're confident our products are gentle enough even for sensitive and eczema-prone skin.
Why do hand sanitisers contain alcohol if the brand is alcohol-free?
Skincare and hair products are alcohol-free to protect delicate skin and hair. Hand sanitisers are the exception โ they require 70% alcohol (per medical guidance) to kill 99.99% of germs effectively. We add organic aloe vera to prevent dryness and keep hands soft even with regular use.
